Quite a "Pear!"

(Click on inspiration board to enlarge images!)
A serene color palette of subtle hues of pear green, a hint of blue hydrangea, and lemon chiffon on a backdrop of Ivory, created an ambiance of calming elegance. Floral design included delicate white orchids, hydrangeas in full bloom, long stems of enchanting belles of Ireland, & fresh picked pears. The Cake was of a whimsical design, yet carried itself with grace and charm. Indoor and Outdoor dining made it a difficult choice for guests to choose which location they adored most! Additional outdoor dining was available on the East and West balconies offering an amazing aerial view of the gardens. Tropical Cheese Cake, Old fashioned lemonade sweetened with sugar crystal swizzle sticks, Traditional hand baked wedding cookies and an Ice Cream Parlor offered guests a myriad tantalizing treats to enjoy throughout the evening! ....Simply Amazing!

Oh My Gerber!

Gerber Daisies are a top pick for many of our brides.
Bright! Bold! Fun! Stunning!
Definitely one of the favorites of our DIY brides; Gerbers provide an explosion of color and whimsy that is easy to arrange, making our DIY brides instantly qualified as their own floral Designer!
Generally around $3 a stem, and showy enough not to need a lot of "fluff", they are an excellent choice for keeping the budget in check...yet they remain a coveted choice of even the fussiest of brides! Gerber Baby!

"Fall"-ing in Love!

Fall weddings bask in the delight of the remains of Summer, enhanced by the bright & bold palette of falling leaves! A collection of leaves, branches, & berries were used to create two floral sprays that hung at the base of the grand staircase. Rich orange orchids and white roses joined an ensemble of leaves and berries to make a picturesque bouquet. Rich Southern style Desserts garnished with fruits from the fall harvest offered gracious hospitality to every guest.

Tickle your Fancy!

We loved the uninhibited style of Jackie's Wedding! From the moment you entered the front door you knew this was one  wedding you were going to remember! The striking contrast of Deep love red and shiny black created the backdrop for all the other amazing elements! Dashing red roses were embellished with just a tickle of black feathers. Her bouquet interwoven with plumes and glass beads! Tier after tier of Decadent Dipped strawberries created the platform for the anniversary cake wrapped in black and white damask ribbon and topped with a dozen red roses! We wish you both all the love in the world! Thanks for allowing all of us at the Chantilly Mansion to be a part of your incredible day!

Just Black & White!

Sometimes the best color is no color at all! A variety of textures was the key element in making this bouquet a stunning success. Not to be outdone, even the smallest details recieved recognition making the cake a "smashing" focal point. Amazingly simple centerpieces comprised of white and ivory Spider Mums joined the spotlight to become part of this Simply Amazing Wedding that will forever be a colorful memory for the Bride & Groom.

Withstanding the Test of Time!

It is always memorable when the cake topper has graced the top of more than a few cakes and withstood the test of time!
The Ball and Mason Jars look perfectly at home next to the formal goblets and vintage plates.
Tables displayed an eclectic combination of silverware and mix & match napkins to create an ambiance that felt like everyone had contributed something wonderful.Three wedding cakes were worthy for the bake off at the State fair!

Quite an A-Fair!

One of the great aspects of the Chantilly Mansion is how adaptable it is to every style and theme. Marilyn and Andrew were one of our favorite couples ever! Their personal distinct sense of style made their wedding uniquely their own! A colorful garland made from vintage fabrics and giant ric-rac hung beneath the 100 year old chandelier proudly indicating that indeed this was a day to celebrate. Wildflower seed packets were made for every guest to help spread the love, and mason jars in every size made delightful vases for the wildflowers and rose petals.

Oh Rockin' Robin!

Well I know today is Ground hog's day, but due to the fact that I don't have any local furry weather predictors handy, I am going to have to rely on the timely appearance of this Rockin' Robin to reassure me that indeed Spring is not far off! I can't exactly say that he saw his shadow, but then again I never really remember... is it out like a Lion in like a lamb if he sees his shadow or visa versa? I am quite confident that either way...I am quite sure that I place about as much confidence in the Robin and the Groundhog as I do our local weather report! Suffice it to say We are always sure of one forecast....Sunny with a chance of storms! or is it Stormy with a chance of Sun! Summer dates are filling quickly...check out our website for photos of our Spring & Summer Weddings!

Sweet Tweets!

Oh the never ending options for cupcakes! These SWEET TWEETS were so delicious there wasn't even a crumb left for the birds. More elegant than whimsical the monochromatic hues of soft ivory and white looked absolutely beautiful as it took the place of the wedding cake. Our cupcake towers always include an Anniversary Cake for the bride & Groom to cut at the reception and then save for their one year Anniversary....and we all know what a great tradition that has turned out to be!

Generation Sensation!

Another endearing element of Jessica 's wedding was this collage of photos. Photos of her ancestors surrounded her own Bridal photo making a rapturous conversation table.

Yo-Yo's Flowers!

Jessica created a quaint and welcoming atmosphere for her wedding at the Chantilly Mansion by incorporating dozens of hand-made yo-yo flowers, like the four seen on the adorable pink cake above. Frosting stitches formed the stems. Hand painted one-of-a-kind birdhouses surrounded by a splendid collection cottage style flowers united to make a unique and delightful design that definitely reflected the personality and charm of the Bride!
